I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Amesbury, MA with 25 years of experience as a healthcare provider and am a member of the NASW (National Association of Social Workers). I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College and an undergraduate degree in Psychology.
Continuing education is an important aspect of my practice as I seek to increase and improve my service offerings to better meet the needs of my clients. Additional training programs that I have completed include: The Clinical Pastoral Eduction Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, EDMR from the Trauma Institute of North Hampton, MA, IFS from the Center of Self Leadership of Watertown, MA and Hypnotherapy from the Wellness Institute of Washington State.
COUNSELING SERVICES
I provide counseling services (including Christian counseling) in Amesbury, MA for adults and adolescents in a relaxed and supportive environment where you are free and encouraged to be yourself. There are no judgements here. You will be treated with dignity and respect.
My goal is your well-being. I understand that no two people are alike and will develop a course of action that is specific to your individual needs. I will listen and HEAR you as your specific challenges are taken to heart and will work with you on your path to healing.
The therapeutic approaches used in my sessions range from traditional cognitive to western therapies that include spirituality and mindfulness. Â I also incorporate EDMR, Hypnotherapy and IFS in my practice.
No one approach works for everyone. Therefore, the therapeutic methods used for your sessions are tailored to your individual needs.
